As long as you have good friends... Everything will be alright.

Yesterday was quite terrible for me. Work has been a bitch and I got home really late and tired. But even though I lack sleep, I still managed to get up this morning because I have a date with my girlfriends. Last time we saw each other was last March and I miss them terribly. I didn't realize how much I missed these girls until I saw them again. I miss college where we saw each other almost everyday :(

So we had lunch at National Sports Grill (Which is a very feminine place to eat btw) at Greenbelt around 1:30, I got there late because of heavy traffic.

We ate Buffalo Wings, Fries, Kung Fu Pasta and lots of Iced Tea. We stayed there too long because of lots of stories to tell. I missed lines like..

Rach: "Yung mga taga Miriam (referring to Miriam College) sa office namin sobrang fashionista and makwento sa sexcapades"
Hachi: "Sinong Miriam? Miriam Quiambao?"

or..

Hachi: "Nag W-WOW ako ngayon.."
Liz: "WOW? WOW magic sing?"
Hachi: "World of Warcraft!"

Yeah, we're crazy like that.

So after lunch we wanted to have a Purikura (A picture from a japanese photo sticker booth) so we went to Timezone. Unfortunately It wasn't working, so we moved to Glorietta's Timezone. We always wanted to have a Purikura taken since we all look so Asian especially them. 1 japanese, 3 chinese, and me who looks I-dunno-you-tell-me (We weren't called Asian Blends for nothing you know).  So we finally had them.. here are some shots :D

So japanesey eh? :D

Ghaad, time went by so fast.. One day is definitely not enough for these guys. Must schedule another time! And with Bea! She wasn't able to come because she has work :(  We missed her terribly. I'm glad I went home with honey. (It's Rach, not some boyfriend) I am truly saddened about what she told us but I guess it's for the best :( We hanged out at Trinoma for a bit before going home. I'm looking forward to helping her shop for clothes, she's asking for a second opinion and I'm more than willing to comply :)

complete! :)

until the next lakad! :)

All is good :)

Went out with some college friends last week after work J It was fun catching up even though we just spent 3 hours together. Ate at Pollo loco which wasn’t exactly where we wanted to eat but we were so tired and hungry and it was the nearest place. At least we were able to have Red Mango for dessert!
with Addie. This is the second time that we had somewhat matching outfits. :))
With Ivan and Addie :)
The Angry-Smiling Face is my favorite wacky pose >:)
Froyo is my newest addiction! I swear I can finish an extra extra large bowl.
I just love that day. Good news from work, met up with some friends, and while camwhoring we learned that Monday’s a holiday!! The best part is it was just announced that night, many people weren’t able to go home in their provinces which means less traffic for me! Well, actually the traffic was quite heavy too because of the rain but good thing Ivan’s with me. We just talked non stop during the trip!

When I got home I was so tired, my legs hurt until the next 2 days but I had the most satisfying sleep ever!
Hope to meet up with Asian Blends soon. Last time we saw each other that we were complete was 5 months ago. Well there are 2 more holidays this month for us to meet (hopefully).

Distance is not a hindrance….

..to take pictures together!
oooh my big face on his screen.

That’s me and Enzo picture taking through the webcam. We rarely see each other so we have to be creative :D
We might meet on monday to watch The Time Traveler's Wife though. (I can't believe I still haven't seen it, I read the book a year ago and I've been waiting for the movie since then) Is excited <3

...On another note, this reminds me of  OFW's talking to their wives and children through webcam. I see a lot of them in computer shops. So RANDOM I know. lalala~

Panda, Cat, Wilderness

So we decided to visit the zoo. It all started when we were thinking of a nice place to photograph awesome sights. I suggested Avilon Zoo because I’ve been there when I was in high school and I kind of remember it being a nice place, not at all the typical zoo where you see malnourished animals. It was a very blurry memory though because I thought that it was somewhere near Manila, like Malabon (or maybe I was thinking Malabon Zoo?) While we were searching the net on how to get there, I even suggested that we just take a cab and Enzo was like ‘NOOOO’.
The trip going there was actually quite easy. From SM North Edsa, there’s a van that will take you somewhere (sorry I forgot if its San Mateo or something else) where you’ll ride an FX that will take you to Montalban. Then you’ll just have to take a trike to Avilon Zoo. The trike ride was the hardest I must say. The weather was quite gloomy because it rained in the morning. We passed this long (or maybe not very long but it felt long) road that looked like a river with lots of soil or soil with lots of water in it. I really can’t tell. Adventure! This is also the first time that Enzo and me went somewhere outside Manila via commute using only the internet for guidance.
Now for the photo dump!
The view upon entrance.. A big lake filled with..
Arophaimas!
DYK: Arophaimas are one of the largest fresh water fishes. They can reach up to 8 feet in length!!
Well yeah, there wasn't much people in the Zoo that Saturday, yeey!

I used the comfort room and when I came back, Enzo was bonding with his furry friends already.
Lunch!

Cute Russian Samoyed passed by while we were taking a self-timer shot. Lucky us cause a picture with this guy costs 50 pesos, we got one for free. (Even if he wasn't looking)
